GENERAL & STUDIO INFO
- 01Not even a little. We get people through the door who haven't picked up a paintbrush since primary school — that's kind of the whole point.
- 02Just yourself. All materials are provided — paints, brushes, canvas, the works. Maybe a water bottle. And a mate, if you like, art's better with mates.
- 03You can grab a casual pass, but we don't love recommending it — our projects run across multiple weeks, so a single class means you probably won't get to finish what you start, and it can disrupt the flow for the rest of the group. If you want a proper taste of the studio, the better option is our 4-week Intro Offer (Creative & Confident in 28 Days for kids, Rediscover Your Creativity in 28 Days for adults) — you get four full sessions to actually finish a project and settle in.
- 04We've got studios in North Perth and Kalamunda — pick whichever's closer. Check the timetable to see what's running at each.
- 05Terms run as per a school term, typically ten weeks. In that time we aim to create four unique projects using different mediums and techniques, so everyone gets to try a bit of everything. There's no time limit on finishing a project — you keep working on it until you're happy, then take it home. Throughout, our teachers give one-on-one guidance since everyone's at a different stage.Just remember you dont book by term, you book a membership, so you are in until you opt out of the membership, that minimises customers having to rebook classes, pay lump sum invoices each term or even worry about losing your spot in a class.
- 06First up, worth clearing this one: Faire & Co isn't a pay-per-class, term-based setup. You're on a membership, one class per week, ongoing. Think of it less like buying tickets to individual sessions and more like a season pass to soccer training. If you can't make your regular class, you can rebook into another class running that same week (same level, subject to availability), the same way you'd jump into training on a different night if your usual session got rained out. Give us at least 2 hours' notice via your Momence portal or app or SMS and the system will allow you to rebook another class in the same week.A few things to know:Make-up classes don't bank up. You get one shot to reschedule within that week, not a stockpile of missed sessions to cash in wheneverNo refunds, no credits. If you can't make your class or the reschedule that week, you simply rejoin the following week like normalYour class each week isn't a "lesson to catch up on", it's your regular time to keep building on your project. Missing one doesn't put you behind, it's just a week off, same as missing a training session doesn't kick you off the team So really, the whole system is designed around keeping you moving each week, not tallying up classes owed. If life gets in the way one week, no stress, just pick back up next week.
- 07We're all about process, not perfection. Our job is to teach you the mediums and techniques and get you to a solid base, then you make it your own with your own flair and ideas. We don't want everyone leaving with an identical piece — we want your personality to come through in what you make.
- 08Same, honestly — most people are the first time. Then they walk in, someone hands them a brush, and fifteen minutes later they've completely forgotten they were nervous. We've seen it a thousand times. Come anyway.
- 09We love capturing the fun, but only with consent. If you'd rather not be photographed, just let your studio know and we'll leave the camera down. With your permission, we sometimes share photos of artwork and happy faces on our socials, always respecting your privacy. If you ever feel a photo was taken or shared without proper consent, tell studio management straight away and we'll sort it out.
