Creative Education & Studio Roles in Perth
North Perth | Kalamunda | Western Australia
Looking for art teaching jobs in Perth or a creative education role that actually values leadership, energy and community? You’re in the right place.
At Faire & Co, we don’t just run art classes.
We build confident young creatives who think independently, take risks and belong to something bigger.
And we’re building a team of educators and creative leaders to help us do it.

MEET FAY (our founder)
Before you apply, I’d love you to understand why this studio exists.

Who we are:
At Faire & Co, we are here to unleash creativity through process art.
We champion:
- The joy of the creative process
- Safe, judgement-free expression
- Exploration over perfection
- Confidence through making
This is not a “copy the teacher’s example” studio.
We guide, we don’t control.
We hold structure, we don’t stifle.

Growth & Leadership Opportunities
We believe in developing from within.
Many of our future leadership roles will be filled by team members who begin as facilitators and grow into additional responsibilities.
Progression is based on performance, leadership and contribution, not simply time served.
If you are looking for a creative career in Perth with room to grow, we are building something long term.

Why Work With Us?
We are a structured, community-focused process art studio with locations in North Perth and Kalamunda.
We operate in 10-week school terms, school holiday programs and special events.
Our team members are not “craft supervisors”.
They are:
-
Classroom leaders
-
Mentors
-
Hosts
-
Community builders
-
Future studio leaders
We are building a small, high-quality team. Not everyone is the right fit, and that’s intentional.
If your availability doesn’t fit right now,
we’d still love you on our future waitlist.
We value:
-
Presence and personality
-
Confidence in leading groups
-
Joy balanced with structure
-
Long-term commitment
-
Initiative and ownership
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
workshop faciliator
Casual | 10-Week Term Commitment | North Perth & Kalamunda
We are currently seeking a confident creative educator who can lead a room. This role is ideal for:
-
Primary or early childhood teachers
-
Education Assistants
-
Teaching students
-
Educators seeking a more creative environment
-
Career pivots from traditional classrooms
You do not need to be a professional artist. We will train you in our process art programs.
You must be confident managing children, projecting your voice and leading with both warmth and authority.
This is a casual position locked into full 10-week school term blocks. Consistency matters to our students and families.
High-performing facilitators may step into expanded hours and leadership roles after six months.
For full role responsibilities, structure and growth pathway details:
creative assistant
We’re on the lookout for friendly, reliable Creative Assistants to support our classes and parties behind the scenes (and sometimes right in the fun of it!).
This role is perfect for teens who:
-
Love being around people and chatting with kids and families
-
Are naturally helpful, proactive, and switched on
-
Don’t mind getting their hands dirty (hello paint + clean-up!)
-
Enjoy being part of a creative, fast-paced environment
You’ll be working alongside our Workshop Facilitators to help classes and events run smoothly. While you won’t be leading sessions, you play a huge role in making the experience feel seamless, welcoming, and fun for everyone.
studio manager
We’re looking for the kind of person who used to absolutely run the show in their old role, stepped away to raise a family, and is now ready to bring all that experience, leadership and common sense back into the workforce, without returning to the full corporate grind.
You might have been the organised one everyone relied on.
The person who kept the team moving.
The one fixing problems before they became problems.
The one holding everything together behind the scenes while still bringing good energy into the room.
That’s the vibe.
This role is not about being “arty”. It’s about being capable.
We need someone who can help keep two busy studios moving smoothly during the day while our afternoon and evening teams roll into classes, workshops and events.
You’ll be supporting operations, team communication, customer experience, memberships, scheduling, systems, lead follow-up and all the little moving pieces that keep Faire & Co running well.
You don’t need to know how to paint. But you do need to know how to:
* lead people
* stay organised
* think ahead
* communicate well
* solve problems
* juggle priorities
* and get stuff done without waiting to be asked.
This is not an entry-level role and probably not suited to someone still figuring out basic workplace skills.
We’re looking for someone who already brings experience to the table and wants to use those skills in a business that’s growing quickly and genuinely making an impact in the community.
The role is permanent part-time, primarily during school hours across our Kalamunda and North Perth studios, with occasional flexibility for launches, events or busy periods.
If you love people, thrive in a fast-moving environment and want meaningful work that still works around family life, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Hiring Process
We hire based on presence and personality.
A resume shows us your experience.
But this role is about leading a room, so we need to see you.
For teaching roles, you will be asked to submit:
An online application and a short 60-second video introducing yourself
We know not everyone loves being on camera. It doesn’t need to be polished. Film it on your phone. Think of it as a quick vibe check.
Shortlisted applicants will attend a video interview and may be invited to run a short in-studio teaching demonstration.

Future Roles
We are always open to connecting with high-quality educators and creative professionals in Perth.
If you believe you would thrive in a leadership-driven creative studio environment, even if a specific role isn’t currently advertised, we’d love to hear from you.
Submit your expression of interest and tell us what you could bring to the studio.
