So you’ve got a little maker in your house who’s been loving their Pee Wees classes - high‑fives all round. Now you’re thinking: What’s next?
Welcome to the exciting step into our Juniors studio (ages 5–8), where the creativity stays wild, the fun stays big, and now they get even more space to grow.
What’s staying the same:
Our relaxed, no‑pressure approach: we still focus on process, not perfect.
Supportive studio vibe: same team, same mess‑friendly materials.
Weekly class rhythm (so it becomes a habit, not a one‑off).
All abilities welcome.
What changes when they move into Juniors:
Longer class time + more autonomy: They’ll begin to set up their own space, make more of their own creative choices.
New materials & techniques: Bigger canvases, different tools, more freedom to explore.
Independent cleanup skills: They’ll start doing things like rinsing brushes, organising materials — small things that feel huge to them (and boost confidence).
Peer shift & growth mindset: They’re with kids who are slightly older, which brings new challenges, new friendships, and fresh creative energy.
Creative goal‑setting: While we still don’t pressure them to “make something perfect”, we nudge them to try something new or push a little further — all in the spirit of fun.
Why this step matters:
Builds creative confidence: when kids realise they can choose the colours, clean up, try new tools, they get the message “I can do this”.
Strengthens independence: moving from guided play (Pee Wees) to more self‑direction (Juniors) helps them in all parts of life.
Maintains the routine: Creativity doesn’t drop off, they keep their class weekly habit, which means skills continue to grow.
Boosts belonging: Being part of “Juniors” feels like a milestone. They’re no longer the littlest in class, they’re stepping up.
Offers a safe space after school: If they’re tired from school, the Juniors class gives them a place to reset, express, and reconnect with fun.

How to make the most of this move:
Have a chat with them: “What do you want to try in Juniors?” Let them dream a little.
Encourage their independence: Let them pick their smock, choose their tools, clean up with you cheering them on.
Celebrate the milestone: Maybe get a small “Juniors starter kit” photo, or hang their first Juniors‑piece on the wall.
Keep open communication: Ask “What did you like today? What new thing did you try?”
Book a trial or class in advance: Help them feel confident going into the new class.
Ready to take the next step?
If you’re thinking “Yes - let’s do it”, here’s how:
Tap the link to view our Juniors timetable.
Choose a slot that suits your family’s rhythm.
Book a Casual Class or Term Membership and we’ll get your little one ready.
We’ll send you a “Welcome to Juniors” email with details about class start, what to bring, and how we’ll support the move.
Still not sure?
That’s totally fine. You can drop into a casual Juniors class first, no long‑term commitment required. And if you want a chat about which class suits, just reply to this email or give us a call. We love questions.
Here’s to the next colourful chapter, to bigger messes, bigger smiles, and seeing your child step up and shine.
See you in the studio (Merlot the studio dog is already wagging).
Cheers,Fay, Maddi & the Faire & Co crew.
