encouraging creativity in our petite artiste's
Creative Play is what children do when they’re just being children, and there are plenty of things you can do to encourage creative play in your home.
Whether it’s drawing, painting, cutting, pasting, modelling, making or make believe, all children love being creative if they’re given the chance. And there’s so many important developmental benefits of creative play, why wouldn’t you want to encourage it?
Developing a love of the creative process will set your child up as a creative thinker in all walks of life. Why not join us in the studio to help you encourage the creativity in your petite artiste!
Classes

PLAY CAFE
Looking for something to do with your babe? We have created a new class, Play Cafe, so our youngest artists can join in, create, play and make, whilst their Mama, Papa or Grandy gets to relax with a coffee.
We will be creating play scenes, where little ones can play with their creations for the 45 min session. Short enough to keep them engaged but long enough to create and play. Class runs once a month for 45 mins and suitable for children aged walking - 4yrs.
Monthly: 9:30am - 10:15am
arty farty: pee wee's
Pee Wees is all about playful discovery – think paint-splattered fun, squishy clay, and hands-on crafting with all sorts of exciting materials like wood, mixed media and more. Each week, our little artists explore new textures, colours and techniques while building confidence and a love for creating.
We keep things relaxed and joy-filled, with a nurturing environment where mess is encouraged and imagination runs wild.
Parents can stay and play (and get messy too!) or drop and shop while we work our arty farty magic.
Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30am

TRANSITION
For kids aged 4–6 who are ready to dip their toes into the after-school art world.
Our Transition class is the perfect stepping stone between Pee Wees and Juniors. Designed especially for little creatives who are now in full-time school but not quite ready for the big leagues just yet.
Each session is small, simple and pressure-free – just the way it should be. We gently build creative confidence, introduce art materials and techniques, and support social skills in a safe, familiar space.
Expect paint, play and proud little faces at pickup.
Great for shy kids, first-timers or anyone who needs a bit more time before diving into bigger projects.
"My little one loves Fay and her team and his art class is the highlight of his week".
