Beginner Art Classes for Adults in Perth

Beginner art classes for adults are a chance to make something just for you, with no experience needed and no pressure. At Faire & Co, our weekly adult art classes in North Perth and Kalamunda are relaxed, social and made for the “creatively rusty”. All materials are provided. You just turn up.

Are there art classes in Perth for complete beginners?

Yes. Half of our adult members walk in saying “I’m not creative”. Our classes are designed for beginners and people returning to art after years away. Nobody marks your work, and nobody expects you to know what you’re doing.

What adult art classes does Faire & Co run?

  • Arty Farty: Adults. Our weekly art class for grown-ups. Try painting, drawing, collage and mixed media, with all materials provided.

  • Tea & Tinker. A relaxed daytime creative catch-up with craft, conversation and easy, no-wrong-way projects.

Some projects take two weeks, some take ten. No one rushes you.

What are the benefits of art classes for adults?

  • Stress relief: a proper break from screens, work and the to-do list.

  • Creativity: a muscle you haven’t used in a while, not a talent you’re born with.

  • Confidence: seeing your own progress is a real boost.

  • Connection: same night, same people, and new friends before you know it.

As one member, Karen, put it: “I was so nervous walking in. Now I can’t wait for Wednesdays.”

How do adult art classes at Faire & Co work?

Every new member starts with our Creative & Confident in 28 Days intro. It gives you four weeks to settle in, get to know the group and find your rhythm. After that it rolls into a monthly membership, with one class a week at the same time and studio. Membership is a monthly direct debit, with a three month minimum and 30 days notice to cancel after that.

Where are your adult art classes?

At our studios in North Perth and Kalamunda.
